Jeff Cuthbert

I write in order to show my support for the Caerphilly based company, Craft Wales Ltd, in their quest to acquire funding through the Rural Industry and Produce Innovation Fund. I understand that the company is now in a position to expand and develop further, with part of the process involving relocation to larger premises on Duffryn Industrial Estate, Ystrad Mynach.

Last year, I met with the directors of the company, Paul Hogg and Helen Nedahl, as they contacted me asking for any suggestions I had which may help them move forward. I found myself extremely impressed with what the business had to offer and the high quality products being created. I firmly believe that the innovative ideas Craft Wales has to supply schools and other organizations with Welsh timber products will be a great asset to the local area. In addition, the unique opportunities this company offers to school children, encouraging them to interact and learn about the processes involved is both interesting and educational. I am also aware that Craft Wales intends to take on more trainees studying NVQs and Modern Apprenticeships which is of further benefit to the local community.

I wish this company every success and hope it is successful in its bid for funding. I look forward to hearing great things from them in the future.

Yours sincerely,

Jeff Cuthbert
