About the work
Craft Wales works with schools, councils, parks and businesses. For work at a private home, our sister company RCT Property Services handles it.
Some of our smaller items are in stock, so that can be a matter of days. Larger items like a park area or outdoor classroom usually take around a week to manufacture and a week to install on site. Lead times from order to installation vary with the time of year, so ask us when you enquire.

About afterwards
Yes. On a yearly maintenance plan we come back, inspect the timber, make good any minor damage and re-spray it. In year five we add an anti-fungal treatment.
Everything apart from green oak is finished in an oil-based product, and we recommend re-coating each spring. That stops the timber cracking and splintering, keeps the water out and slows the algae that makes a surface slippery. Green oak is designed to withstand the elements, and its appearance will change over time.
